I am excited to be part of the St. Matthias family. My family and I have been parishioners for close to 20 years and my three daughters have attended St. Matthias School. After being the Summer Sondays coordinator and HSA president I wanted to work at St. Matthias and was able to be a substitute and work in ASP while my children were young. Then an opportunity came up to become the Pre-K Assistant, which gave me the chance to see how much I loved working with young children. A few years later another opportunity came up to become the lead teacher in Pre-K and I was excited to take on the challenge and go through the Alternate Route Process.
I bring to St. Matthias School my BA in Mathematics and Alternate Route Teaching certification from Kean University, my Masters in Management with a Project Management focus from Stevens Institute of Technology, and certification from the intensive program from the Stella Adler Conservatory of Acting.
My philosophy in teaching is to create the joy of learning in young students through play and engagement while instilling practices to bring peace and show kindness to others and the world around us.

Miss Hayley is new to St. Matthias School in 2022 and we welcome her with wide arms! She has taken Early Childhood education classes while at Hillsborough High School, has certification from Montessori, and has worked at child care facilities in the central Jersey area. Hayley's teaching philosophy is to make sure every child is treated with love and respect. Her passion is to ensure that students are aware that their teachers believe in them and that they understand that they can do anything they put their mind to. She loves to read stories to children and enjoys working with the younger students.
